Health information is processed because it is necessary for the provision of counselling and healthcare services, compliance with professional obligations and, where applicable, the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Everything discussed during counselling is treated as confidential.

Brief professional notes are kept following counselling sessions and stored securely.
I also attend regular clinical supervision as required by my professional body. Client information discussed during supervision is anonymised wherever possible, and supervisors are bound by professional confidentiality.

Appropriate technical and organisational measures are used to protect your personal information.
Client records are normally retained for [7 years after the end of therapy], unless a longer retention period is required by law, insurance requirements or professional guidance.
